The garden and pool are a peaceful retreat, with sunshine, shade, and visits from sweet cats. Hing, who helps around the house, is incredibly kind and keeps everything spotless without ever intruding. Heather and John are warm, generous hosts who provide great tips and make you feel truly at home. We left feeling rested and grateful. This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a space filled with care and kindness. Thank you, Heather, John, and Hing. We’d love to return.

I work online, and the wifi here was fast and... read more reliable, which is not easy to find in Siem Reap, although I also recommend getting a local sim for a hotspot in case of any brief power outages which can happen sometimes in Cambodia. Mobile date is very cheap, around 100GBs for $10. The place feels private yet social, big but cozy. There are lots of different areas, balconies, terraces, etc, and the pool is wonderful and big! It almost feels like being in the countryside, but it literally takes five minutes to be in the city. The rooms are very well equipped and there's an oven in the communal kitchen and a very nice piano! If you need any guidance on motorbike or bike rental, local tours, a tuk-tuk driver, J&H are very knowledgeable and happy to help. I would be very happy to stay here again!

John and Heather are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met and I’m so sad we couldn’t stay longer due to time constraints.

The location is on the outskirts of town but still within easy driving distance by scooter or tuk-tuk to both the town and attractions. The room was spacious with a lovely patio overlooking the pool, and the kitchen was perfect for a quick meal, though the food in Siem Reap was so amazing we mostly ate out. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I’d highly recommend it!
