The atmosphere is really easy going and people from all ages would mingle by the pool and we made life long friends from this. Upstairs has a fully equipped kitchen (we didnt need to use it as each apartment has their own kitchen) with a yoga/music area and plenty of space to work. The rooms and outside areas were super clean and hein the Housekeeper was so lovely. The hosts Heather and John are the friendliest easy going people you will ever meet and because of them we are already planning our next trip to saralya. Thanks Heather and John you are both amazing and we really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to see you again xx

I work online, and the wifi here was fast and... read more reliable, which is not easy to find in Siem Reap, although I also recommend getting a local sim for a hotspot in case of any brief power outages which can happen sometimes in Cambodia. Mobile date is very cheap, around 100GBs for $10. The place feels private yet social, big but cozy. There are lots of different areas, balconies, terraces, etc, and the pool is wonderful and big! It almost feels like being in the countryside, but it literally takes five minutes to be in the city. The rooms are very well equipped and there's an oven in the communal kitchen and a very nice piano! If you need any guidance on motorbike or bike rental, local tours, a tuk-tuk driver, J&H are very knowledgeable and happy to help. I would be very happy to stay here again!

Het appartement zelf heeft alles wat je nodig hebt (als er iets mist kan je het vinden in de gemeenschappelijke leefruimte), leuk terras, gezellige living, voldoende privacy. Het kijkt uit op het zwembad dat je zo goed als voor jou alleen hebt. De ligging is heel rustig, een stukje buiten het centrum maar je geraakt overal heel gemakkelijk met een tuktuk of taxi. Dit is een echte aanrader!!

  We had such a special stay at Saralya Home!! Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with so many useful amenities and products (body soap, shampoo, dish soap, dish ware,... read more an AC, fans, etc.). We also had a beautiful view of the pool, which we used every day! John and Heather were incredible hosts! They were kind, communicative and full of suggestions. They sent us a comprehensive list of restaurants to try and sites to visit. (The highlights for us were Angkor Wat, of course, and the APOPO Center!) They responded to our messages very quickly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Bonus: Saralya Home has the sweetest cats! We spent several afternoons relaxing with them. We will absolutely be coming back one day. We really couldn't have had a better stay here. Thank you! 🙏🏻
